About Temple Emanuel: Library

Temple Emanuel Library

Temple Emanuel Library Mission Statement

The Temple Emanuel Library, located on the second floor of the Jefferson Road campus adjacent to the Religious School wing, is an outstanding resource for materials in all media representing the broad spectrum of the Jewish experience.

The mission of the Temple Emanuel library is to support the educational programs and activities of the Temple by providing print and multi-media materials of education, entertainment and enrichment to our Pre-school, Religious and Hebrew schools and the entire congregation at large. The library is available for congregants as well as students, teachers, clergy and staff members to read, browse, relax, question, learn and explore the library resources with the assistance of the librarian and the library volunteers.

The Temple is committed to providing a positive library experience by offering intellectual and social stimulation while deepening Jewish learning and experience.

Stop by on Sunday mornings during Religious School, or visit by appointment by contacting the Temple office.
